Department of Human Services

• The Department of Human Services received a $200,000 appropriation for assistance to non-profit and for-profit entities for evacuation, transportation and medical services for low-income medical assistance recipients, child care resources and referral, and behavioral health services.
   
• As of Feb.1, 2008, $47,981 had been allocated to eligible requests for assistance.
